The picture above is taken from the second of our series of Millennium Books, the Millennium Book of the King Charles Spaniel, in which Roland sends best wishes to his 'drop eared cousins'.

For some years we nurtured a desire to obtain a Phalene, the more so since we had the privilege of judging the beautiful Ch Gallinas Prince Noir at the Danish Papillon Club Championship show some nine years or so ago. Knowing of our desire our good friend, Deirdre Ashdown kindly bought Roland as a present for us.

A medium sized rich red and white with a sparkling white coat Roland is an extremely happy and lively dog with a most outgoing personality. Unfortunately it has not been possible to find him a suitable wife to proceed with a breeding phalenes and he is now living in happy retirement with his friend Gucci (Nouveau Let's Party)
